Are there any medical restrictions?Customers with photo sensitive epilepsy are unable to use the simulators. Due to the nature of the experience and the requirements to climb in and out of the cockpit, customers should be of a reasonable level of fitness and health to participate. As the simulator is a replica of the real thing, access to the pilot seats requires passing your legs through the narrow gap between the seat and the communications pedestal. The passenger section is easier to access, though still requires a level of mobility to access. As a general guide, customers and guests should have the ability to climb in and out of a car unaided. Please call us before purchasing an experience to discuss any of these factors. We will endeavour to facilitate any special requirements that you may have.
-
What should I wear?We recommend loose comfortable loose clothing. Though please feel free to wear a pilot’s uniform or similar if you wish for photographs.
-

Which airports can I fly from? The short answer is anywhere! We have a number of popular airports that have highly realistic graphics such as Manchester, Liverpool and Gatwick. These are almost identical to the real thing, right down to the signage on the terminals. But don’t worry, if you fancy going somewhere a little bit more further afield. Our system has a database containing 24,000 airports and accurate terrain / vegetation for the entire planet! At all airports the runways and taxiways are accurate however the buildings are procedurally generated meaning they won’t look quite like real life. If you have a specific request we ask that you let us know at least 24 hours before your experience. Our virtual reality motion simulator focuses on specific mission areas which include the Persian Gulf, Syria, Normandy and South Coast of England.
-
What previous experience do I need?None. We tailor all of our courses to meet the needs of the customer, regardless of experience or aptitude. It does not matter if you are a fully qualified pilot or a complete novice, you will love the experience we give you.

Does the simulator move? Our 737 simulator is a fixed base simulator and so it does not move. Don’t let that fool you though, our 220 degree wrap around visuals trick your mind into feeling as though you are moving. This coupled with the vibrations of the engines and sounds lead to a highly realistic experience. It is very rare that a member of the public would use a full motion simulator for 2 reasons. The first is that the hourly rate starts at around £500+ per hour. The second is that the visuals are not as realistic. This is because they have to move with the cockpit as it rotates, meaning that they have to have smaller screens attached to the cockpit windows. Our 28ft x 8ft screen with triple HD projectors give a much more immersive experience. As the name suggests our “Air Combat Pro” virtual reality motion simulator does move! As well as immersive visuals created by the virtual reality headset, you will be able to feel every missile launch, bank and roll as the seat pivots you on its axis.
-
What are the age restrictions? We believe that people of all ages can enjoy the simulator, as long as they are tall enough to reach the controls. We suggest a minimum age of 8 years old as a guide. A responsible parent or guardian is required to supervise any children during the experience. Our oldest customer so far is in his 90’s. Please see the medical restrictions section for related information.
-
Can I bring friends and family?737 Simulator Of course! Moreover, guests must stay in their seat for the duration of the flight. We can accommodate up to 5 guests at a time. We do not recommend bringing guests for experiences lasting more than 60 minutes, unless you are happy for the simulation to be paused for toilet breaks. Air Combat Simulator Our virtual reality motion simulators are only able to accommodate two flying participants due to space restrictions.
-
