737 Pro is based at Westair, the leading ATO in the North West.

 

Our B737-800NG simulator began construction in early 2017 as a joint venture between Horizon Simulators and Westair Flying Services. Our vision was to develop a highly accurate fixed based simulator that is located at a commercial flight training organization:

 

• For commercial students to develop their knowledge and skillsets in a training environment that has everything under one roof, offering modular students the opportunity to develop around their work patterns and shift, without excessive travel.   

• For ATPL students going through ground school to contextualise what they are learning as they learn it, without having to wait to do their JOC at the very end.    

• For serving airline pilots and those going through type ratings to have an affordable and local training resource that was accurate to the real thing.

• For general aviators to have the opportunity to experience larger aircraft from the comfort of their own aerodrome, even flying in to visit should they wish. 

• For members of the public to use or give as gifts to loved ones, offering an experience that will be remembered and talked about for a lifetime.  

• For schools to raise awareness of a career as a pilot 

• For businesses who are looking to develop leadership and teamwork within their employees
